Bytes Software Services joins Haven Power
17th February 2021
Bytes Software Services Limited (‘Bytes’) has signed a two-year contract with Haven Power for 100% renewable electricity supply.
Thanks to our 100% renewable electricity, Bytes can report their carbon emissions as zero under Scope 2 of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. It’s estimated that this will deliver a carbon-emissions saving of 110 tonnes to Bytes over the lifetime of their contract - a significant reduction.
Neil Murphy, CEO at Bytes
“We chose Haven Power for a number of reasons, but the foremost being that they provide power from renewable sources and therefore the electricity that we now use is 100% renewable which is in-line with our targets and aspirations of our CSR.”
“The other reason that Haven Power was selected was because their tariff best suited our needs; we are on their “Complete” tariff which fixes our energy costs for the duration of the contract; this gives us certainty over our energy spend, which is a really important factor for us.”
“We are determined to do everything that we can to ensure that Bytes has a positive impact on the environment as well as on our local communities. Our ambitions have dovetailed in this respect. As a well-established supplier in the market, I am confident that Haven Power is the supplier that best meets our requirements, both now and in the near future.”
Rob Milloy, Sales and Service Director, Drax Customers (Opus Energy and Haven Power)
“We’re really happy to work with Bytes Software Services Limited and to provide them with 100% renewable electricity.”
“Helping our customers to meet their sustainability targets and to understand their energy are two of the most important things for us as an energy supplier.”
“As part of Drax, we’re committed to delivering a lower-cost, zero carbon energy future. By helping our customers to understand and control their energy - and through our innovative tariffs and products - we’re helping businesses across the country to reduce their environmental impact.”
We work closely with all our customers and third-party intermediaries to ensure the highest level of service. We’ll continue to deliver innovative products and support as our customer’s needs change and our working relationship develops.”
